At SOFRA, we want to offer a flexible return policy that allows you to shop with confidence while still honouring and respecting the hard work of our artisans. Our unique, high-quality tableware deserves careful handling, and we’ve designed our return process to reflect this.
- Option for a Partial Shipment: After placing your order, if you’re unsure about keeping the full set, we offer the option to dispatch a single place setting (e.g., 1 plate, 1 bowl, 1 napkin). This allows you to experience the product first-hand before committing to the full order. Please note, if you choose this option, your full order will only start production after you confirm you want it, which may result in extended delivery timelines.
- Post-Purchase Call: Once your order is placed, we will call you to confirm whether you would like to receive the entire order or begin with a sample place setting. This personalized approach helps avoid unnecessary shipping costs and risks associated with shipping larger orders.
- Free Returns on One Item: If you choose to go ahead with the full order, we offer free returns on one single item category per order (e.g only the bowls, or only the napkins). This approach ensures we prevent mass returns, minimize shipping damage, and maintain the integrity of our carefully crafted pieces.

As an additional note, made to order items are not eligible for returns or refunds unless you receive a faulty item. This will normally be stated on the product page.
